 SAMARIS final seminar
took place in Lausanne, Switzerland, on February 16 and 17, 2006.

  SAMARIS (Sustainable and Advanced
MAterials for Road
InfraStructure)
was a RTD and Demonstration research project from the Growth program
of the 5th Framework Programme. Running
from December 2002 to March 2006, the project was initiated
in FEHRL, the Forum of Europe's National
Road
Research Centres. It was was divided into two streams. The first one dealt
with pavements
and the second one with highway structures.
